So what's wrong with wanting to keep a nice car NICE. What's wrong with taking pride in your car and wanting to keep it in tip top shape both mechanically AND visually. To sit there and rant about someone else taking care of their car and wanting to show it off is just assenine. I got a big can of SHUT THE FUCK UP you can havea big heaping spoonfull out of. When that person or persons that shows their cars actually does something to THREATEN you then rant. I spend a good amount of time keeping my car clean and pretty. So now am I not the very person this is aimed at? How about 99.9% of the guys that had their cars at any car show locally? Is that also who this is aimed at? EAT ASS!!!!!settle down...christ

Ya...it's amazing, pretty baller when u have $10k guns stacked up like they're nothing...do u know if he's even driven the supra in the past few years...never seen it on the road, just the shelby and the prowler. If the supra has been on the road this year, I haven't seen it. The Shelby for that matter. However there's an A/C Cobra replica rollin around lately and I wouldn't be a bit suprised if it was his. FUCKER!!!

Nope. In fact, I've put 10 miles on it since P10 and 30 miles for the month prior. I have had that car for three years and haven't put more than 10 k in that time. It's a chosen hobby. No different than being big into collecting guns and spending hours cleaning and detailing them. Hell it's no different than buying a house and wanting to keep it in tip top shape. You are constantly cleaning it. The only difference is that you dont take your house to a show. You want to protect your investment. I certainly see no problem with it. Who are you or anybody else to pass judgement on someone for that.do you still live in your house or is for the strict purpose of making sure it stays clean? to buy a house and keep it MINT is one thing but your comparing it to paying 200k for painting it 3 tone Kandy pearl and never living in cause you dont wanna damage the "mint jdm interior". theres nothing wrong with having a nice car and not driving it i never passed judgment other than saying that its not for ME. putting that much money into a car is usually not a very wise investment cuase you will maybe find ONE person many years down the road that will give a third what you paid for it. its purely for yours and others visual enjoyment. BUT if thats what youre into PROPS. im not trying to argue about whos right or wrong with investing money in show cars, just to most people, cars are for driving... I LOVE SHOW CARS! HIN WAS AWESOME lol

I agree that cars should be driven. I like my car to look nice and i want it to be show worthy but my first priority is that it is drivable and made to beat on. I don't drive my car when it is raining, or cold, or in the winter, but that is cuz i have a winter beater/dd that i would rather drive, but whenever it is nice, i drive my car and i drive it hard. And MOST cars as an investment is retarded.....god forbid your car get a paint chip, it mite lose $200 in value, better just not drive it. I respect ppl for building show cars and have no problem with them doing so, i will just build my cars to drive and enjoy them.

This got taken the wrong direction Wes I agree with you I enjoy keeping my car nice and showing it off when I can. The difference is that if I bend a rim on the curb or someone keys it I can't really afford to fix it right away. Now if I built, lets just use the chubster for example which is a 1957 bel air two door hardtop built by boyd coddington for about $275,000, and never drove it just because i might damage it that would be retarded because if i can afford to spend that kind of money on a car I can damn sure afford to fix it if the paint gets chipped or I break the rear end doing doughnuts in the wal mart parking lot.

im sure Colin has something to say on this

Did doughnuts in the walmart parking lot with a 62 ford falcon once.
