Should i keep my XB or Sell it??

Thanks Wes, its not second thoughts about the car, i know in 5 years (length of my loan) i will regret not having it if i sell it, but at the same time i wish i had more free cash now...its a tough decision....

I think u've heard my opinion enough, but i'll give it again. I say keep it, I never liked XB's till I saw yours and what you've done with it. It has to be one of the most tastefully modded cars i've seen around and is definately a nice show car. If you like the car and are happy with it keep it, cause u always will regret selling it, i've had that happen a few times. If u can afford the payments that is, if you're going into some bad debt or something because of it then I wouldnt. It's come along ways since stock and cant even imagine what it would be like if u continue to mod it the way you have been, I think it has a lot of potential. I know it's a hard choice and i'm sure syrie (which she has the right idea, aka keeping it) isnt helping much, lol, but if u like it and it's not affecting your finances too bad KEEP IT!!!

Just try making a list of the things or activities you can do without or at least cut back on. You'd be surprised how much money you can free up by cutting out unneeded things. Like XJ said, maybe one less night on the town for example, that stuff can add up quickly without even realizing it. It's all equivalent exchange, you have to give up something in order keep something.

I would never spend a lot of money in mods on a car that i had a significant loan on. I know some ppl differ but if i can afford to spend 2k+ in mods, i could otherwise afford to pay down a lot and pay less in interest. And a 5 yr loan is a bad idea, especially on a cheaper vehicle. My dad had a manager at his business who had bad credit so my dad financed a vehicle in his buisness name, when he had to fire the employee he had to take the vehicle and the guy had done a 5 or 6 yr loan and he owed around $30,000 on a vehicle worth $18,000 at the time. Really bad move, so my dad has been paying $600 a month to keep a spare vehicle cuz it has a negative equity. I know that doesn't really answer your question about keeping it but that is my financial advice. If you keep it i would suggest you try to pay it off sooner to save on interest and increase your equity and cut back on the modding.

If money is tight with a five year loan on a car that you can't even drive that much, I'd sell it.

Think about it this way, you'll never really have more "spending money" the more money you get, the higher your life expenses get. I personally don't think cars are a good investment, so sell the Box, buy something cheap that you can make semi-fast and have fun with it. less money spent on a bad investment, more money to have fun with, no worrying about the condition of a car.

I am paying it off faster than 5 years, i would end up paying a couple extra grand in interest if i remember right, and that just seems pointless to me. If i did sell it a suby would definitely be a high possibility on my list of cars to buy.

From what i've talked about with shane, he's more into show cars than making them fast...which is where our views on things and up being totally opposite, lol but that's what he likes so I respect that. Seems like there isnt much love on here for the toaster....

i love the car but to still be making payments on something you dont really like driving on a regular basis doesnt sound like a good idea to me. if i paid for that vehicle for the next 5 years and didnt even put 80k miles on it i guess i wouldnt be happy. just my .02
