no way that thing spins counter clockwise, i stared at it for 15 minutes and it always stayed clockwise.

Same here, I almost crapped my pants concentrating so hard to get it to go the other way. I am really tired right now, don't know if that would mess with it.

this is fucked up, but I figured out how to change her back and forth. Stare at the shadow of her leg for a while then look up. This shit is awesome, I'm forwarding this to my psych teacher and asking him for an explanation.

well it definatly just loops back and forth between the two if you look really carefully at the shadow the foot just keeps going side to side. very confusing but interesting.

                  Question:

Since your left brain controls right eye vision and right brain controls left eye vision (for the most part) shouldn't closing 1 eye alter what you see?

I guarantee you it doesn't loop back and forth. Again...my wife swears it goes left when I swear it goes right while watching at the same time on the same monitor....and it switches at different times for us as well.

yeah, it spins clockwise for me, so it says right brain. But, i have absolutely no traits of a right brain and all for left, also im left handed if that makes any diference. I can get it to go both ways with a little work as well, but 90% clockwise. So, i guess its not always accurate.

i can watch it and make it not spin at all, just go to one side then switch directions and then the other side. i dont doubt that one side of your brain makes it spin one way and the other side the other way, but its an optical illusion that doesnt spin at all. think about it. it cant ACTUALLY be spinning two different directions at once.

im not trying to be an ass ( i feel like i sound like it). i think this is really cool.
