Your running a Mac O/S on a Dell?
Is it meant to be that way? Or was that a new computer preloaded wrong?

Yeah, I'm running Mac OS 10.4... I'll upgrade it to leopard (10.5) later tonight...

Took me a while today to get it working, but since all the new mac's are intel based... its not as hard as you'd think.

Did it come preloaded with Vista at all?
I heard about the intel based Mac systems, I have a co-worker that is thinking of putting the mac o/s on his system.

i've had better luck with my mac than any other computer i've owned.. probably because i haven't used it for anything other than the internets yet.

Update...

Everything works now as its supposed to, finally got video card drivers, usb wifi drivers, sound card drivers...

Runs quite a bit faster then alot of the ibooks and stuff I've used...

I've got an apple for a laptop, and I love it so far. I definitely don't know how to use it as extenively as my pc, but it's learning process.

OSX is sweet. For some reason, on the Dell, it still doesn't look as nice as it does on a Mac. Maybe its just the pics? But on the Mac itself, everything looks so nice and smooth, its hard to explain.

i was thinking about getting a ibook pro with the 17" screen and everything upgraded to the full extent

The first pics I had were at low resolution... I bumped it up to 1900 x 1200 now...
