I'm 'trying' to avoid 3rd floor unless there is an elevator but I'll keep it inmind.

Yeah, quite a few ppl from fargostreet live in this area i think, you all can check out my sweet escort wagon I got for the winter. Some other ricers maybe not on the forum too. I actually looked at Park Avenue but I saw a ton of reviews saying the management was kinda shady. I don't know if there is any truth to that but it was enough to shy me.

When are you looking for? My mom is a property manager for Skaff Apartments and they have a couple openings around Home Depot on 45th.
She has a 1 bedroom on 2nd floor with a balcony and an elevator in the building. Single garage, designated parking spot, washer/drier, heat and water paid, "very unique 1 bedroom" for $590 a month.
She also has a couple 2 bedroom 2 baths walkout level, double garage, designated parking spot, head and water paid, rent is anywhere for $725 to $775. Also very unique layouts.
Security deposit on both is only $99. Depending on how long of a lease you're looking for, she could work out some incentives.
Her number is 701-277-9481. Ask for Julie.

I will likely need to be moving next week. I've got somewhere I 'can' stay but I want to get into an apartment ASAP assuming I accept this job.
And unless the 1 bedrooms are quite big, I'm going to need to get into a 2 bedroom. Price on the 2bdrm is about on par with Amber Crossing which is more than I'm willing to spend right now unfortunately.

The 1 bedroom is available right now. It's approximately 679 square feet with a walk-in closet, bay window, and screen door onto the patio in the master bedroom.
The building also has a fitness room, if that means anything to you. The apartment faces south, and the floorplan is available here: http://www.skaffapartments.com/Web_Plans/50021Bed108.jpg
It's actually a really nice and pretty new building.

I think there's a couple places around Gold Drive - right off the interstate and 25th, that had W/D in unit, garages, but it all came as options.. Pretty sure they were Goldmark, too.. I was looking for places a couple months ago and was considering those. Can't remember the name of the place but I'll try to look it up here. Rent was quasi-reasonable, too.

place I was thinking of was probably Summit Point. Here's the Goldmark directory at least.

There are some apartments just S of Hornbachers on 32nd that meet your needs Dubbsy. I can't remember the name of them off hand, but if I get by there in the near future I'll check it out for you.

Did you pick one yet?signed the paperwork, I -MAY- be approved tomorrow... otherwise it'll be Monday.
Went down yesterday to apply for a 2 bedroom I was looking at and it was rented. I was 1 of like 5 looking at the 1 bedroom I'm going to lease. Didn't dare take time to think about it much more. Looked at it and ran to sign the papers.

This thread and these prices make me sick to my stomach. Fck you and fck Fargo's cheap rental rates...Have a nice day

and THAT is why I didn't want to move to MPLS....
I'd have to be making something like 10-12k more to compare to here with the living expense differences (according to the information I was given a year or so ago).
