Call verizon directly or go to a corporate store. Also did you try a hard recet on the phone? That and *228 is the usual the troubleshooting for bed reception. No thanks on either of those. I dont want to sit on the phone for 2 hours. or stand in line for 2 hours. Ill just go to go wireless in moorhead. They have done everything else for me and I am never there more then 20min. I'll go to a corprate store if i can walk out with the voyager with out paying a more.
Joel is having the same issues I am, we both have the lg 8700. Maybe there fake Stainless steel covers screwed something up.

yes. but unfortunately if your phone had water damage. (humidity) they will not touch the phone. not even for updateGetting a phone wet enough to have water damage (the dot in the inside turns red), would most likely be the source of your problems...
I'm not sure if you can really blame Verizon as a bad company for having a phone get wet?

its not the first time something has happened. i have three water dots only one was red. i brought it to a phone repair place and they said it was the motherboard that was damaged. not known if it had to do with water damage or not. and before i had water damage, my phone would just turn off and stop working.

If you are mad because they wont warranty it, just think of this if you owned Verizon Wireless and you had thousands of people claiming that there phone had problems before it got wet. Then wanted you to send them a new phone. Would it be smart financially?
