I don't think they'd put Brock Lesner in a fight he was gonna lose to start things off

Mir isn't a can, he's a former champ. He could still be dangerous. It's not like they put him in with someone who has no fights under his belt.

From the MMA rumor mill, I expect lesner to pound the shit out of mir, but with jutjitsu, you can never count a guy out. It only takes one mistake to get armbarred.

Lesnar is a beast. From a physical standpoint alone, not many people can walk into a NFL training camp with ZERO college football experience and even be considered to be on the team. He is a beast and is very very strong.

Now, from what I have heard he wasn't just good at the college level, he was one of the best college wrestlers in the world, only to be sucked away by the WWE.

I know when Brock wrestled at Bismarck State College he once made a wrestler from Dickinson State cry on the mat....does that count for anything? (I'm serious btw)

My friend mark (350lb ex-o-line from NDSU) and knows brock pretty well. Once, brock picked him up over his head.

I expect that this is going to be an interesting fight. From watching Lesnar in his first mma fight destroy that Japanese guy I'd guess that he might do the same with Mir, but as Colin said, with a good JJ guy you can never count him out. I rode 8hr in a car last week with a guy who grew up and wrestled (in HS only) with Lesnar. He said that Lesnar just loves to fight, whether it's a street fight, wrestling, etc... he just has the right mindset to win. I'm guessing that if he has good trainers he's going to go a long way.

Lesner is an animal, I would be very shocked and suprised if he were to loose this fight

And, his arm bars are pretty devastating. I remember him snapping Silvia forearm. That shit had to hurt.
