I will be buy'n a Full tube Chassis Kit next week and then that will make me further along that Matt. No really its not a race to get the car done its a race when we both line up at sabin... I dont want to cut corners on this project And i either does matt. I want to buy all the wheels , chassis, brakes, suspension, spindles ... befor i start to cut shit up..

Matt I was reading on a site I think S&W that if you want to run faster than 10.5's you should do a whole frame... Which I think you said you were gonna add next summer..

I second what Andy has to say...

But did you account for tire growth? Those things are really going to grow.. I'm sure you did..

And yes, as Tufte said Matt - we all knew what motor was going in long ago..
I wont spill the beans on PT though..

So far he has only cut out enough fenderwell to get the tires in there. There will be more cutting, and then the tubs go in. There will be plenty of room.

I'll have plenty of room for tire growth. Like Dave said, I've just started cutting the inside fenders out. I could put a 32x14 in there if I wanted...now that would be over doing it. 🙂

It's not EVERYONE doing RWD conversions, there's only 2 going on around here this winter. Matt, that looks like a LOT of work and hopefully you can get it done in a timely manner. I know I'm intersted to see what it will done when done!
