I have some friends i am trying to help out that just moved into my area (20ish). One has a clean 90 hatch that wants to do a SR, and the other has a beautiful 93 coupe that wants to do a KA

These guys are smart and have been around the forums but dont really have the fab exp..... that is why i am involved.

The 90 with the SR is going to be done first. He has a complete redtop sitting there, and a like new precision sc6031e T3 .48 hotside, precision front mount... looking to do a haltech E8 right away too

(motor will stay stock for awhile)

He doesnt want to spend 800+ for a SR topmount, what are my options?
I offered that we could make one... faber showed me a link to some DIY KA stuff any SR??

I am not an avid 240 guy so what should be done with the engine out to everythying?

give your suggestions please, the both of you should have fun doing this 🙂

i gotta go but ill add to this later

Well first off, make sure the turbo fits under the hood when its done, so it doesnt look stupid. And second, make sure its somewhat straight in there so it doesnt look stupid. 😉

Otherwise, just do your regular cleanup, wiring, brackets cleaned and painted and get rid of all the vaccuum and emmissions shit

There is a lot of cast turbo manifolds for the SR. I just don't remember the names. Look on zilvia. You already know what I said for the KA-T stuff. Add me on MSN noob!
