    Short story is:

0/4 on Carbon Fiber hoods. One more is in shipping right now, probably going to show up damaged also. So, soon to be 0/5 on them. Thank God for shipping insurance. This is only the start of stuff I have go damaged in shipping.

    PM me for:
    Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
    Diesel repairs or performance products.

Might be better to just go and get the part yourself or you may never get a good one. 😄

BAX Global brings them from Chino, Cali to the cities, and I can't remember who bring them here.

They deal with it all the time. Claim lots of hoods. Suprised the shipping company isnt getting pissed. Just for this one order they have paid out $1,980 just for the MSRP on the hoods plus what ever it costs for shipping.

I am the one getting pissed. Order was placed before 1st week in december. Then they send me the wrong hood, after waiting like 7 weeks to get the new ones shipped.

Damage has been on the same spot on both hoods that have showed up. With the wood support piece being damaged.

It also sucks that so much carbon fiber is being wasted because once it is made, it can not be recycled or reused other than cutting out flat pieces from what is there, or trying to repair what it damaged. Just tell them to give you your money back, and then paint over the damage and be done. Color match the whole hood, or leave a center strip of carbo.

on a S13 with popups it would look like ass. I have a car with a color matched center. If they were vented, maybe it would be different.

What is happening with the 2 damaged hoods, I do not know.

That's because the Japanese shipping/freight companies are the only ones that give a crap about Japanese parts.

Don't even get me started on DHL.
