So... what have you guys been doing.....

Let's see....$700 for a bike that is built exactly the way you wanted in a style that is no longer produced by a company that is no longer in business (I don't think) for a retro-build...I think he came out ok.
The point was he wanted a bike like this, so he went out and bought what he needed to make it happen....oh...and this bike > any $100 bike you are going to find on the market today, probably better than most $400+ bikes

Thats pretty cool that you built it and stuff and it looks sweet with the paint..but...whats the point? whats so special about building that for 700 as opposed to spending 100 on one?Same as any hobby. how much do people spend on guns? How much spent on an old pedal tractor? Shit, how much did I spend on the Miata just to be slow still? It's the same thing. And yes there is a resale value on this old school stuff. The bike would fetch a good penny if I was to sell it. But, I wont. I used to love to ride/flatland BITD and I will be doing it again. I tried riding a modern bike and it just felt akward. Not to mention, my youngest kid is into this shit too and it's a great way to share in something with him and make the bond that much greater.

Im really impressed.....nice work.

Here's what I've been doing:

These are the 360's that I repaired or modded today... Oh and Johnsons Wii waiting for a modchip.

7dbi Omni Antenna....

Hooked up to a WRT54G running DD-WRT w/ 2 500mW amps in series... totaling the legal limit of 1W.
My router is visable for ~1 mile, I can send and recieve ~4-6 blocks to other AP's / Computers

I wouldnt sell em. I'd just keep em all. I dont want the money as much as the bike. It's all about the memories. The stuff is going for st00pid prices now. The market will fall out from underneath it soon if it keeps on like it has.

I've been trying to get the motivation to get things done. lol
I got my garage insulated and re-wired before Christmas. I just recently got it cleaned up again so I can fit 2 cars in there. I finished up (well, I'm still adding minor things) the security system at my house. I also installed a new system for a member on here as well. Also had school/work/fixing Dodges. I'll post pics of stuff if anyone cares.
