solid 4.8 or 5.3 vortec

I just bought a 5.3 complete and a 6.0l (which is going in my mustang project) on friday if you need a 6.0l core to rebuild I have one had minor piston slap. I believe around 60 k on the motor or you could just use it as is cause they all have piston slap.

Did you get a harness and computer for it? How much did you pay? Where did you get them?

6.0 l was just a long block 5.3l was complete with harness minus computer. Picked them up from a private guy in Valley City. The core 6.0l (which i think u can just put in and run as is) I would like to see 400.00 out of it.

I would like to find a either a complete 4.8/5.3 with harness and computer and a 2wd 4l60 behind it

I talked to Pat at Roadside, told him my plans and what i was looking for, he was very interested and determined to set me up right

ended up getting a full pull out ....... complete 4.8 and 4l60, harness, ecu...everything for $900

he had a 5.3 too but i opted for the 4.8, I wanna end up building this thing to rev someday

anywho........ fucking 7th wanted 600 alone for just an engine (lowest milage engine there was 116k) WITHOUT ecu, harness, accessories......
and another 750 for a 4l60 :icon_shaking:
