I can see the guy's reason for being mad, but it sounds more like a freak accident than something that's gonna be a problem. I believe I have the same exact pedals in my lancer GTS and that would mean that there are thousands of lancers out there not experiencing the same problem.

The pedal is only one issue, and I would be willing to guess it was a fluke, but it sounds like he has defended the 'issues' he has had for awhile, and finally gave up defending.

I'd have to go with an Evo X myself, but the new STi's are still pretty badass. I'd take an older STi over an older Evo though.... or hell, I'd take whatever I could get! haha the only reason people bring up the Evo/STi argument is because they both perform great and look great.

Absofreakinglutly. Maybe that styling works in anime, but not in real life. Ever see an EVO X in person they are sweet. The seat is a little small, but they are a blast to drive.

Damn. It will be interesting to see if it was a fluke or a pandemic. Looks like it could have been a flaw in the plastic molding. Time will tell.

out of curiosity does the new subaru have a newly developed engine? it shouldn't really suprise anyone that a vehicle with a new engine has a couple "issues" off the bat.

i'm pretty sure the peddle was a freak thing from the sounds. no one else was saying it happend to theirs.
