did you ever meet drake? he's... i don't know how to describe him. he's different, the norwegian different (you know, when a norwegian eats something and says, "that's different", it really means that they never want to taste, smell, or even see it again).
on metal gear solid 4: i don't have a ps3 yet, but i played a some previous metal gear games and spent a few days with similar genre stuff... the reviews that it gets from critics (hold on, i have to laugh until i faint), * gamers, and websites (i'll be a little less tough on these, they're a bit more in touch with what players want) make me think i should consider getting it (and a ps3) to help make it through winter.

What previous Metal Gear games are you referring to? Old school Metal Gear and MG2, or Metal Gear Solid 1, 2 and 3?

nothing "solid", if that helps clarify. i don't remember much about them. of the stuff that's similar, i think killswitch was good, but oblivion is definitely better. comparing those two seems wrong, they're just so different, even though they are reasonably similar in gameplay. the rainbow six series was... ok.
i've never been all that interested in the third-person military-base crawling kind of games. i do like games that have an engrossing story, that aspect of mgs4 makes it seem like a good choice. if it does so well among all of its various sources of criticism, it might be something worth trying.

lol I bought that bundle pack that one of the guy here told me to wait for.
I beat the game like 2 days ago. Fun game, you travel around the world(something new).But some how I'm kind of disappointed. I think the classic MGS for PSX was the best out of all of them. I shouldn't judge because I haven't played the snake eater yet.
