Cops Lie!

I have a buddy that got a ticket for failure to stop at a stop sign and improper lane usage about a month or so ago. When he went to his inital court appearance he pled non-guilty to both charges and after he told me that I called him an idiot. Well he went to his court/trial today and had his evidence to back his side of the story up(he went into the other lane to avoid a massive pothole). Cop said that he cut off a car and cause another to slam on his brakes which wasn't true at all. Judge asked to review the tape from the cruiser which showed no one around when he took his turn. judge dropped the improper turn but got nailed with the failure to stop. Just goes to show you that not all tickets are valid and you can fight for something that you don't believe is right.

I think most of us know that some cops lie. I have had them completely make up stuff multiple times before.

sounds like the same cop that tried to give the a "failure to maintain control of the vehicle" citation. which was later removed in court.
