Haltech E6x
-
Where would someone go to get a Haltech E6x tuned on a DSM? My friend Matt Wolf is selling his soon and I found a DSM I might pick up, but it needs to be tuned bad and I figured the Haltech would be a good unit if I could find someone to tune it. Thanks.

Yep. He got an AEM EMS now and that's a little out of my range for the car I'm looking at.

Nobody has experience with Haltech tuning?
-
mmm i think zbrown messed with it? but definatly dont quote me on that

yeah i had a E8 system... so a step up from the E6x
I loved that system, but made more sense to use HP tuners with the V8 build so i could use the electronic tranny and have the advantages of that
never had one hickup with the system what-so-ever
the e6x and e8 use Halwin software which is windows based and is very easy to use, I know the system inside and out but i am 400 miles away
Installing a new E8 system on a 240 currently

If you aren't running staged injectors like on a rotary it would be very simple to get a simple well running tune, if you have a wideband to know where you are
And honestly i have have heard much more about problems with AEM units than Haltech units, atleast in the rotary world

Thanks a lot, if I end up with the car and the Haltech I may get back to you, 400 miles is a lot less than hauling it to Cali.
