my launch control was set to 3500 and i forgot about it. launching 24" slicks at 3500 doesnt work very well. fastest time on slicks was a 13.5 at 108 fastest time on street tires was 13.4 at 117.

^says alot about the launch issues. my best 60' with the slicks was 2.8

i'm sorry but did you really need to say that?? if he didn't have a two step at 3500 and be running on huge slicks he obviously wouldnt be running 13's and would more than likely be running faster than you. not trying to dog on you cuz trav i luv ya to death but you are ALWAYS rubbing it in brandon's face that your car is "faster". it's almost starting to bother me that as a good friend of his, when his car is having issues you are there throwing it in his face that your car is so fast when you know that his car would be just as fast if not faster. whether he says anything to you about it or not, if i was him i would be sick of hearing it.

yea i mean i understand it's definitely motivation, but when you hear it alll the time it just gets kinda irritating? but whatev it's not even my car so it doesn't really matter what i think anyways lol

i dont want to get into this because its alot easier for me to just continue ignoring it than to have a weird rift between travis and I. but i have been listening to this for a long time and now im sick of hearing about the damn 2step at the track. I have purposly gone quite a few months now with saying little to none about my car, and when im asked about it i act like its nothing special for this reason exactly.

THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION FOR ME , nor do i care if anyone is faster than me. my car would be getting done the exact same and at the exact same pace it is now even if travis didnt have his car, so when i cant go to a damn cruise or sit in my living room without hearing about the fact i forgot about my damn 2step and couldnt make a good pass its very annoying.

cars arent my thing, their just what i know. i do not do build cars becuase i like them, i do not do it to be faster than any of the other guys , nor do i care how much i or someone else spent on them. my car was built for far more important reasons to me than any of that and i DONT CARE HOW IT PERFORMS.

so yes travis your car ran a 12.5 and mine ran a 13.4, if i decide to go out again this year maybe itll be different but until then i do not need to hear, compare and compete over ever single aspect of our cars. and remember i still pulled prolly 7 lengths on you to 120 rolls eyes

there i go getting all pissed off about it like i said i didnt wanna do. sorry /rant

Brandon, I love you and I'm impressed. I'll also fix that of for you. And I agree, build your car to be what you want. I dont care that my car is fed and can't launch worth a shit, I love it and it is what I want.

Get that 2step off, throw the slicks back on and lets go run 11's:) It's hard to run really good times with having little to no seat time. None the less on big slicks. It's alot harder to get good launches on big slicks then ppl think. 60' times have a huge effect on your 1/4 mile times. Brandon you may not really care but I wanna see you hit 11's:)
