For example........had a car come in some time ago. Car would not move on its own. Needed a clutch. This clutch was so badly destroyed the friction disk was compleatly destroyed. It was not round. When asked what happened the kid told his parents that we was just driving 55 down the interstate when it happened. Please!!!! This kid was racing when it happened. Friction disks dont explode from driving down the interstate.Im not ragging on you i just dont understand how you justify you sayin you were beatin on it but nothing to an extreme but w/e. Its your car do with it as you wish.

and your service writer told my dad he called all over the place and found the "cheapest" motor he could find, 100% BS... next time one of your employee's tells someone a rediculous price make sure there son doesn't know what's up.....:icon_scratch:

i would put matts driving and honda knowledge up against anyones on here. Theres a reason an S2000 revs to 9... matt pushed the car every once in a while, but was always very careful with it as far as maintenance. a car with 24k on it shouldnt burn 3 qts of oil in 2k miles... plain and simple.

Another thing........you are right about the ways for a motor to break. Its not driver error, but it plays a part. I wasnt tryin to piss you off but i understand where you would think i was tryin to. How the engine got to its current point in life?????? Who cares. Its not important.

well i'm gonna end this here and now. lol since everyone needs someone to blame in every situation we're gonna just go ahead and blame this one on me. (like matt not-so-secretly already does). the day the S broke matt and i had just grabbed a bite to eat and saw the crew out cruising as we left. he wanted to go home and i wanted to go cruise. as anyone that really knows matt you know that he drives his cars as they are made to be driven. not like a grandma but not like an idiot. it's an S and it's made to be ripped on a lil. but yea we joined the cruise and to make a long story short it broke when i told him to start rippin on it. honestly i dont even know how it happened but i was in the passenger seat lol. one second it was sittin in vtec the next it wouldnt even start. he wasnt doing anything crazy or stupid let alone anything you would think would break a honda.. but just so everyone gets off his back for something that honestly was out of anyone's control go ahead and blame this one on me if ya need to.

I know its not cool when your vehicle needs some major work done. It gets expensive,and i have no idea what the service writer quoted ur parents. I hope there are no harsh feelings between you and i So i think its safe to call this thread done and stick a fork in it.....................
