Note: this is from a study done by Purdue University. It shows the height of the jet if it actually hit the Pentagon where it did.

ive also seen a site that shows pictures of the plane found at the pentagon as well though.

ok but in those pictures the plane hit the lawn first...which if it made actually made the "impact" there would be tires marks and assuming it wasnt a soft landing i'm sure the tires and other thing would break off causing more of a "rut" in the ground and there was not marks....at all.

I forget the exact #'s but jet fuel burns something like 400 degrees colder than what those beam should have been able to withstand. I'll see if I can find the source of that in a bit.
