Driving up 8th street today I hit a red by sunmart and burger king. That gas station on the corner was selling gas for $9.XX a gallon...what the hell?????

No idea, if I'm remembering correctly I think it was like 9.66 or 9.88/gal. Should have snapped a picture of it!
Only reason I posted it is because of all the "gas shortage" sayers out there and the fact that loaf n jug has had nothing but regular lately and paper signs over their premium/mid grade buttons saying "out of gas" or something along those lines.
