well the link doesnt work now. but the computer was $2700, 16gb ipod touch was $300, wireless mighty mouse was $70, case was $35, airline adapter was $50, ethernet adapter was $30 and all of that was with the protection plans.

LOL the macbook air is wayy more GAYYY than gangster. I got pretty much the same stuff(15" macbook pro and 32gb ipod touch) and I love all of it. I've been a mac user all of my life so I know all the ins and outs of using a mac. I'd never recommend getting the Pro over the regular macbook unless you actually know how to use it to its full potential.

It's for sure worth it if you know what you're doing, and yeah you can build a Dell with the same specs, but it's just doesn't even compare with the actual performance and the satisfaction you get with the simplicity of a Mac.

I do have to say that you should have waited and bought this stuff later because the new Ipod touch just came out, and that is baller. I'm going to be sending my 32gb one back for the new one soon. Also if you could wait a few more weeks there's rumors that Apples coming out with a whole new line of laptops in the coming weeks.

what is the return for the ipods...i have a 30gb video that i dont need anymore. and i ordered all of that shit like an hour before i made this thread, i was going to wait until december to get a ibook, but the free ipod thingy ends on sept 15.

ps, if i have any questions about the ibook do you care if i pm you about them? this is my first mac, but i am fairly pc illiterate.

Why? Nowadays they all run the same hardware. Might as well spare the expensive of the "Mac" and buy a PC and run OSX if you really want a Mac.

I'd say the smartest and dumbest(only time will tell) move they have made is going to an Intel chip. It may help bring them mainstream, but it really loses the difference between the Mac and the PC. Granted, Unix is maybe a better platform, but now they have the same performance hardware wise.
