One of these cars were used in the trollwood production this summer.

I wonder if it was this one?....eh, the one used in the production had a huge scratch on the pass. side.

I saw that too. I talked to my neighbor about the DMC in the Craigslist ad earlier this summer and he said it was a fake. It's been listed quite a few times.

I think he meant the ad itself is fake, not the car. To my knowledge, there isnt a place making fake ones yet. And really, there isnt any need because they arent that expensive. There is a business doing total restos of them and selling them for 50k and they seem to be moving somehow.

This guys price might be a little high for around here, he might be able to get it south of here. I saw a MINT one sell at BJ in AZ for 17k, but that was in 2000 or 2001.

And this ad might be fake, it says black leather and it is clearly the gray version, not black.

I had an idea like that once. It was a "Jump To Conclusions" mat.

                          *fucking SWEET sacrilege.

It's SO wrong though, and you know it. but i like the red. as much as ..goddamnit.

let me replay you what happened EVERY TIME I saw this car across the intersection from me on 7th ave & 10th street - because that's the only place I'd ever see it, and I saw it a few times.

"Huh, what kind of car is that? It's like.. I dunno. What is that?" (light turns green. I rubberneck to figure out what it is at a whopping 5 mph.) "FUCK! What the - you can't do that to a DeLorean.. but it looks.. NO! IT'S NOT RIGHT! but it's kind of fucking sweet.. Shit. That's so wrong! I'm going to hell for even thinking about liking it! Unless I don't admit it.. yeah! Who does that to a DeLorean? CAN you even do that to a DeLorean?? Nobody's going to believe this.."

(and none of my DMC-loving friends did. because nobody in their right mind ever painted a delorean.)

I think they look pretty nice painted. I have seen them in many different colors, some are like that because they were damaged and they were fixed the traditional way, and some wer painted for other reasons. I looked at one for sale years ago that was painted from the factory blue, the guy had all the paperwork and all that showed it was built that way.

As for the one for sale, its a real one. I looked at it the other day. It was sitting at that body shop on 1st ave n fargo by 25th st. He wants a little much for it, but its damn nice, still looks like new.
