I say why get a bike?...yeah, they are cool and all, but, just think...you could get a decent car for that much....maybe a half modified civic or DSM?....and keep building it, however, if you want a bike thats cool. we can chat later

Bike > Car when it comes to MPG. You see gas prices lately? They are only going to get worse.

gas mileage would definately be nice. i almost bought a bike this year but i decided one money pit was enough

not tyrin to knock bikes but they really dont get as good of MPG as you would think. maybe the 600 are diffrent but my old 954RR barley got 30 and we wont even start on the R1(and thats dyno tuned).

thought the 600s were rated at 55mpg or something? if your reving the piss out if it all the time its obviously gonna be a lot lower

that was just crusing down the interstate at 80 my rpm are at about 6000 but around town on a 600 might be a diffrent story.

The guy I work with has a 07 CBR 600 I believe and he is upwards of 50mpg just cruisin around (I think).

If your getting 30mpg on a bike, something is wrong rofl.

As far as e85 goes.. for the few cents you save filling up your tank, i'd much rather have a bike that gets close to double the mpg.

I doubt it.. My 96 gets 38-40 in town and about 34-35 on the interstate at 80MPH
