I would put the IPikes up against any blizzak. For the price they cannot be beat! They are on Freitags RX7, My 2.5RS, Shane's GF's Impreza, Darricks WRX and I haven't heard ANYONE wish they would have bought something else. I would strongly recommend these tires to a cavalier owner or a Lexus owner. They rock!

the ipike prices above are about $10-$20 cheaper per tire than blizzak WS-50s from tirerack for equivalent sizes, if I remember right. They are also studdable, but don't come that way (see HandoEX below)

In Fargo, I've run Blizzak WS-50s, Green Diamond Icelanders, and I just put Conti Wintercontact 790s this winter. All make a night and day difference over all-seasons.

There's no excuse for a car guy to be running all season tires here... our winters are too severe and we presumably all drive hard in the summer...

Run summers or aggressive all-seasons in the summer... run dedicated snows in the winter.

Getting a second set of wheels should be pretty affordable for all you guys with civics and other mass-produced, small factory wheel cars. If you've got big brakes it will be a problem, but generally, you want to go with the smallest wheel size you can fit over your brakes for snow tires..

They don't come studded. I love my iPikes and this is a really good deal on them.

These Ipikes can be studded for $15 per tire! It is LEGAL in ND to have studded tires, however ILLEGAL in MN.
