      It is probably a valve stuck in your catalytic converter

          I think it is similar to those exhaust temp gauges that some guys have.

                          I've used an exhaust back pressure gauge before when dynoing the car. Found out the exhaust was way too tiny this way (13 lbs of back pressure)
