McCain could have ran away with this election if it weren't for hypocrisy of saying one thing and then doing another (Palin, Timmons, etc....)

      Short version of the article:

McCain hires William Timmons to head up his "transition team" into the whitehouse.

Timmons used to lobby for (in favor of) Saddam Hussein

Saddam Hussein is/was (according to McCains own words) in cahoots with one Mr. Osama Bin Laden.

Therefore McCain has hired a man to take him into the Whitehouse who has supported the efforts of the Taliban.

Therefore John McCain is a terrorist.

Gee, this is easy and fun, no wonder you guys have been doing this with Obama for so long.

He is a terrorist! We must vote for Barrack Osama!:icon_porc:

People had begun licking on Obama's nuts as far back as a year or 2 after Bush's 2nd term...there was no GOP candidate that would have had a run away election with the amount of hype the Dems gave Obama.

I can personally atest to this, I was in HS still when I'd first heard about him and all the little liberal hippie people in school would just drool at the sound of his name...get em while they're young, dumb, and impressionable.

True, he has had a big impact on the Democratic party, however he did have to overcome the Clinton political machine to get here as well.

The point I was making is that he is within what 5-10% of the popular vote right now, but makes decisions that negate any momentum/edge he may have had over his opponent.

          Inexperience : Bring on Palin
Association w/ terrorists: Bring on Timmons

By definition, communism gets rid of all forms of gov't and makes everyone "equal" To say that Obama wants to get rid of gov't is false....if anything, he wants more of it.

But since we are kind of on the distribution of wealth idea, how about we start making the wealthy corporations pay their fair share of taxes? Something like 2/3 of all corporations pay no corporate taxes....but the people that work for them pay income taxes....isn't this kind of like a reverse robin hood scenario? Take from the poor and give to the rich. Is this the type of society we want to live in? A society of corporate welfare?

BTW, there is plenty of evidence that McCain sure likes to make people think that Obama is a terrorist... He did hire Jeff Larson to do the robocalls for him. You know...Jeff Larson, the guy who not 8 years ago successfully pulled off a similar robocall claiming that John McCain had an illegitimate black daughter? You know, the daughter that McCain's wife Cindy and him adopted from Bangladash? Makes perfect sense that you would hire this guy to run your phone operations...he lies and he wins.

If we would cut taxes on corporations while at the same time start taxing overseas income, we would provide a MUCH larger incentive to bring back the +$500Bil of American money that is overseas due to lower tax rates in countries like Mexico and China. All while providing more jobs for Americans as well...

I think I posted this elsewhere already... http://www.rd.com/your-america-inspiring-people-and-stories/outrageous-runaway-taxes/article101737.html

But Dustin is right...since the end of WW2 we've had incentives for our businesses to move overseas... There have been plenty of presidents/senators/congressmen on BOTH sides of the aisle that could have taken this issue up, yet it has never ever happened and the US loses billions in tax revenue every year because of it.
