    Knowing your average speed pulling that stuff is probably around 85 mph, I'll guess 6.8 mpg

                Well I couldn't even make Steele on one tank. I had to stop at Dawson and dump 5 gallons in. Refilled at Steele, took 38 gallons.

                4.1 mpg running 75-80

                7.64 @ 187 3400 lbs. on KORN

                        Fueled in Dickingson. 142 miles 35 gallons. 78-82 mph. 35-40 mph NNW wind. 4.05 mpg. Pegging the EGT guage at 1350 many times... saw 1400 a couple times.

                            HOLY SHIT!!!! I knew the new 08 diesels have been getting shitty gasmilage... but not that bad!

                            Do you have a chip/intake/exhaust?

                            PM me for:
                            Sandblasting(I use glass beads)
                            Diesel repairs or performance products.

                              in all seriousness though anything around 1250 or more sustained while towing is getting toasty

                              I can bury 1600* within 3-5 seconds if you lay into it with the stock turbo.... but I only stay in it for short bursts
