I installed a CD player in my thunderbird a month ago and when at low RPM's my CD player sounds fuzzy like static and as soon as I give it some gas it sounds perfect.

Now the same thing goes for my subs I have my +12 from the battery and when I'm at low rpm's my amp does not get enough power to make the subs kick, then when I gun it they sound perfect.

What the fuck is going on?

alternator cant keep up or your battery is failing or both lol
wait i think its your battery cause at low rpm the battery runs shit when the alternator cant keep up

edit: find some place to do a battery load test...thats the best way to tell if your battery is weak...i think a local parts shop will do it for free but im not sure? then if your battery check out then you would wanna see what the output of the alternator is

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

advanced auto on 13th does free battery checks. try that. if its not that then its definitely the alternator. id say its more likely the alternator not being able to keep up at low rpms, but im not 100% sure.

its probably just your battery...if it was ur altrenator...it woiuld make ur battery die...or it usuually does....just get a capacitor and you will be able to tell how many volts you are running!

If I were you I would buy an optima red top. $150 3 year free replacement warranty, cant go wrong. I have one and its the best battery money can buy IMO.

for some cars the yellow wont work it will over heat the car its like the same thing as puting a 12 volt battery into a 6 volt system it will over heat " i know this cause i did that to my 52 chevy dump truck i got the truck out of the way"...lol
