I'll throw my 2 cents into the index class idea.....although it does "include" more cars, and you don't have to be very quick to win something.....it turns into a "sandbagging-fest" instantly....which sucks.

This happens every time at bike day and is bs to participate in as well as spectate.

Here are 6 classes that I've been asking people about...

            Quickest RWD street tire

            Quickest FWD street tire

            Quickest AWD street tire

            Quickest RWD slick tire

            Quickest FWD slick tire

            Quickest AWD slick tire

One problem I see with this is the lack of AWD cars on slicks.

Exactly.....NO answer is going to make everyone happy....but, believe me, wait till the bitching about "all that guy's doing is sandbagging" starts.

The reason the bike comp is successful is that it rewards progress. Sandbagging is not progress.

I think you should be listening to the people that are doing the racing.. Or even going out to the races not the bench racers.

I don't get why the index idea is so bad? If worthless fucks want to sandbag bump them a class. It's pretty obvious who is being a pussy and wont race the faster class.

But that isn't how that indexing works. The racer picks their index. The LAST thing I want to have to do is babysit a bunch of racers.

                                  True.....and it ruins the racing.

One problem in my mind Nick is that the TM days were created to give the area racers what they had been asking for.......a full day of open lanes to run their vehicles......not structured racing. If people want to bracket race, there are plenty of days to do that at IDrags and have a chance to win money.

Or any. You could put AWD in its own class, the only one around there on slicks (that i know of) is jeremys talon.

but then again you gotta race to win points :icon_jokercolor:
