Car Covers.
-
I'm going to be leaving my car in Ohio when I come home for break. I'm going to be leaving my car outside so I want to cover it. Anyone have any suggestions on a car cover to buy? What are important qualities to look for in a good car cover?
I don't want to spend an arm and a leg so the cheaper the better if it doesn't hurt quality too much.

None... can do more damage then leaving it with out. If you are that worried about it, just find a storage garage to rent for a month. Why do you think it'd be better without one? The Fits have pretty crappy paint due to the pressure auto makers are facing to make their cars more eco friendly. I'm going to go out tomarrow and see how much a storage garage would be.

If your going to be leaving it outside your better off with no car cover than a car cover and having it be outside. Covers can put micro-scratches on the surface and damage the clear coat. Getting the cover wet will cause mildew and mold formation on and in the paint surface. That and moisture wont be able to escape and most likely will lead to rust.
Just leave it outside...its a Fit...
