the perfect street car that readily comes to my mind would be something like:

                                    1932 ford 5 window coupe
                                    4ish inch chop
                                    fender/hoodless highboy
                                    deuce frame
40s ford front axle/spindles with hydro brakes
                                    Deuce grille shell
                                    split front/rear wishbones
                                    late 50s BOP rear axle
                                    built 57 olds 371 rocket, J-2 tripower
                                    matching stick 3spd OD tranny
                                    wide 5 drums/rims
                                    cheater slicks in back

I had an idea like that once. It was a "Jump To Conclusions" mat.
