the perfect street car that readily comes to my mind would be something like:

        1932 ford 5 window coupe
        4ish inch chop
        fender/hoodless highboy
        deuce frame
40s ford front axle/spindles with hydro brakes
        Deuce grille shell
        split front/rear wishbones
        late 50s BOP rear axle
        built 57 olds 371 rocket, J-2 tripower
        matching stick 3spd OD tranny
        wide 5 drums/rims
        cheater slicks in back

I had an idea like that once. It was a "Jump To Conclusions" mat.

yeah it does, I didnt realize we were talking winter too. In that case, so does a trans am and a mustang (in comparison to other things).

Anything comfortable, lots of options, good in the winter, something u could comfortably drive all day long, any day of the year, and can mod the shit out of...

If I were to be able to build something for these, i'd probably do a 06-07 Sti, lower it on grippy tires in the summer, raise it back up on snow tires in the winter...
