i know it wasnt what you had in mind, but I i was pinched for time. so I threw 3 coats of primer down, 4 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear. next week I will be up at NDSU putting the engine back together.

here are some updates on the project. The engine is 90% completed . I just have to wait until tintmasters is done polishing my IC pipes and my turbo compressor housing. This saturday I spent all morning cleaning and tearing the engine bay. Aj and eric came over about 1:30, we masked everything off and aj went to it. it turned out great. the color is better than I imagined. Cant wait until the whole car is painted.

This weekend will be spent putting the engine back in and hopefully firing the car back up.

Looks good!!!! Painting your engine bay right takes lots and lots of time but when its done, it looks amazing! I am glad we spent the hours upon hours we took to strip, clean, prep and paint my engine bay!

                            What color is it?

Should have taken the rest of the stuff out tho 😉

^I know. but i was afraid that if I took it out I wasnt going to be able to remember how to put it back. we masked 90% of everything. it looks good enough for me.

the color is Daytona blue. I think its a 350z color. I originally wanted Bayside Blue (R34 color) But you cant buy that here in the states. So Aj found a color as close to that as he could. It looks freakin sweet!

I freaking called it, soon as I saw it I thought Daytona Blue. Very nice color, car will look amazing when its all that color. Keep up the good work. Oh and don't listen to the spray paint haters, it looks just fine.

no, but I dont care if it matches cause you can barely see the block when all the other sh*t is on it anyway. I guess Im not that picky. its not going to be a show car. mainly just a race car.
