So I'm driving down main today in my work truck, to take a customers (15000lbs) fifth wheel trailer to the body shop because it had been jackknifed. I'm driving along and i missed my turn on 45th, so rather than trying to find a spot to get this 38 foot trailer turned around and back on main the other way, i decided to go to another street to get to 7th ave (right turn just before the sheyenne st turn) and being the first time taking a tall trailer under the little train bridge, i slowed down and tilted up my mirrors to make sure i wasn't going to shave the roof off of the trailer, no problem there. Proceeded to make a right on 7th ave and start driving down the street, and some old man and his dog in a 07 or 08? fusion about sideswipes my truck/trailer passing me, and then cuts me off by inches and break checks me! i had everything i could do to not jackknife or hit him! Just as I'm about to hit him he realizes i'm not stopping and gasses it and checks me again! i finally get the truck stopped and this guy is marching toward my truck yelling at me!? so i get out of my truck thinking WTF! Then he says to me "What are you thinking? Stopping under a overpass without trailer lights!" So, trying to be civil, i said they worked when i checked them before i left, and turned all my lights/flashers on and walked him to the rear of the trailer and pointed out that they are working. Then he got irate, he proceeds to ask me if i have a class b license, and tell me its required. (which it is not, i go through weigh stations and dot stops all the time with my class d with dot cert) and yells at me that hes going to go to my work and make sure I'm fired!? By this time i am fuming pissed, but because I'm in a work truck i cant get too mean/rude to him. so i told him good luck with that, ill meet you there in 20 minutes, to that he replied i'm on my way..... and yells at me, its people like you that caused me to have an open heart surgery! ...WTF?????? Well, he never showed. :icon_scratch: I know, its a long story, but, What is with people, I mean this fuckers mentality is like, if you see a guy run a stop sign so you chase him down and fender check him off the road and yell at him for nearly killing someone!??? A little retarded.
