I agree, 21k is ridiculous, you could build a much better engine for much less.
Its probably closer to 650hp but regardless who pays 21k?
            They underrate everything.

wow are you serious? that motor will be able to handle a solid 1000+hp all day long, and will do it with just a pulley swap, headers and a methanol kit. You go buy a 1000hp capable LSx with all the FI components and intercooler, not to mention the awesome oiling system this has, and see what it costs. Just a hint, most guys spend at least 15k and closer to 20k. And this has a warrantee and far superior machining and assembly. In fact, call up a LSx sponsor like Katech or LS1Speed, they will quote you more than that for a complete motor, plus a procharger system

And just so you know, a ZR1 stock puts down aroung 560whp. Tune, Headers and a air filter puts it at over 610whp, and one with those mods has dyno'd around 720hp

              2006 Trailblazer SS- my DD
              2002 Camaro- built N/A LS3, Flt level 5 trans, 8.8 rear

I think the motor is badass but overpriced.
