how much did he have to invest into that k20 to be able to beat the supra though?

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

Yeah you might as well go with a Honda because car payments are a PITA.

If you're tired of fixing stuff, I'd probably go for a stock Honda and mod it later when you can afford to. It'd be slow for a while, but at least it shouldn't break.

I'd say go for a Nissan 240SX, every now and then you see one w/ a silvia SR20DET swap on autotrader for about what you want to pay.

That actually isn't too bad of an idea to go with some sort of a SR20DET powered vehicle. Nissan SE-R w/that swap perform pretty well and are pretty sleeper.

Also, ever thought about an Si? Never read up on them too much, but they seem to be very mod-able ,and buying a newer car ,you will only run into a few weaknesses in the car, vs early 90's super-cars like DSM's and civics :rolls eyes: where you have rust, wear and tear, and stuff like people not changing oil for 20,000 miles(buick) Right kevin?

How? That is better mileage than a brand new AWD DSM. How do you keep it so high especially with all those mods?

If you buy an integra get a gsr. If you buy a civic get an early year hatchy, and an sr20 powered 240 is already turbo, rearwheel drive, and about the same price as a dsm to mod. My buddy did alot of research on them. If you get a 240 you can do an S15 front end conversion. Just some suggestions. 🙂
