What Recession?

My name is on the deed to the house as it is paid off and its a great way to avoid the inheritance tax and a wonderful way to make great credit. Do I make house payments? No, its all paid off. Do I pay utilities and specials? Yes.
So you don't leach off your parents parker? Where you get your farm from?

Must be nice having things handed to you on a silver platter.

im just trying to avoid this shitty job situation. I dont care who you are nobody wants to go back to working fast food or whatever after having a good job.man the fuck up and just do it.
Hell, I have a solid 8-5 job that I love and I get paid enough to cover all of my expenses (rent, bills, auto loan, insurance on 2 vehicles) yet working for $8.25/hr isn't above me because I spend a lot of evenings and weekends doing just that.
As far as the video... Its great that the region thus far has gone through the recession fairly unscathed however even since early on I've been worried about these companies that extend in great part beyond the region (DMI, CNH, Bobcat, etc) and the possible domino effect we'll experience as a result of their struggles.

Working at DMI, and seeing what they have had to cut back recently is disturbing. Even from the point of when i started, last August to January, things changed. As soon as the new orders came in for 2009, and there was only one company that ordered, as opposed to the usual 2, maybe 3, we knew something was up. They are going down fast, and need to fix it quickly. Bobcat is the same way. I worked there for 3 summers, as summer help, and every summer i went, it got worse and worse. I am from Gwinner, where the main Bobcat plant is located, and i know how it would effect that area of the state if that place closed or moved. The entire county (Sargent), would become ghost towns. Fargo would take quite a hit as well.
Scary times man, scary times
