What a bunch of turds. Imagine if the TC's had a flood of this magnitude and those type of guys had to fend their city.
Bye bye minneapolis. Oh well, very good odds are they've never been to Fargo, have absolutely 0 idea what a major flood stage even looksl ike in Fargo and only get their information off of graphs.
Best they check their meat/bread/sugar whatever and make sure it's not from the red river valley area since it was farmed by a bunch of retards.

GoldenPlump wins the douche bag of the year award in my opinion. What a fucking ass. From what I read he must be one of those super racist black guys that get pissed every time the white man needs help.

There was just as high of the percentage of black people bagging as there were white, it's just that there are tons more white people here.

I dont really think it matters how many "colored" people helped bag. Fact is there were people from all sort of ethnic backgrounds helping and the job got done. Get over it!

that thread is pretty full of fail.
I love how there is this big assumption that the Fargo situation and the NOLA situation are comparable, and that Fargo is going to cost all kinds of tax payer dollars, etc etc.
I have been out of town during the entire mess, but my impression is that people in Fargo and surrounding areas are getting the fucking job done, with lots of volunteers, lots of state national guard help, etc. I don't like Mayor Wallaker's politics much, but to whatever extent he was responsible for the flood response he nailed it, IMO. He didn't bitch and whine and wait for someone from FEMA to declare that there would be problem, didn't wait for someone to hand deliver a sack of money, etc etc.
I don't think the outcomes in Fargo and NOLA could have been any more different. My wife and 2 year old were in town without me; she was watching someone elses kids so that both parents could go sandbag. My wife was telling me some of the stuff she heard from other people last week. There was a report of a girl bringing fresh baked goods to people working on dikes around her house. Apparently pizza places were getting orders for like $500 worth of pizza from people that just called in and said "here's my credit card number, bring all that pizza to whereever people are filling bags or setting up dikes".
There wil be plenty of time this summer and in the future to figure out how to do a better job next time, or to keep there from ever being a next time.
For now, I think everyone that helped should be proud and thankful that they live in a community like FM.

Yea I was sandbagging up by county road 20 on friday , and this one house had a ton of food and drinks for the volunteers. And the red cross had sandwiches and hot chocolate and stuff, and most places people would usually bring out cookies, hot ham and cheese, water, or other goodies.

My favorite part is on page 10 where they all think its funny that we had a like a 6 month head start on sand bagging and didn't get on it.
How dumb are people? I guess they all can't be smarter than sandbags but still.
But yeah, I agree, cities guys are pretend know it all douches. "Of course why not just build a diversion around the city!!"
Of course, the mayor said itd be a billion dollar project.

North Dakotans must be retards, our state government turns a SURPLUS, who in their right mind would operate within their own means.
