I've been job hunting off and on for way too long. You can't just rely on them to call you. If you applied in person then go back a couple of days later and let them know you are very interested in the position. Make sure you are showered and shaved and not wearing crappy clothing(hey, some people don't assume this stuff). It only takes a couple of minutes to get back to the person hiring and you've gotta get the bills paid. If you're not paying rent and utility bills and keeping the vehicle running and buying food then you're in trouble. Good luck, man.

If you are really desprite you can go work at dons car wash. You walk in and fill out a very small app and you will walk out with a job. You start at 6.50 and get payed every week. It's a really shitty job but its money. I worked there for a little bit till I could find a better job. Have really flexible hours too.

SEI is hiring all the time for new positions. Try filling out an application there. I filled one out and i got a phone call within 3 days, and now i've been with them for about 6 months. They pay pretty good too, and i've even gotten a raise so far.

Go to any plumbing,pipefitting,ductwork place in fargo. Mostly union shops around, but I work at grants which is a merit shop. Start as a laborer at $10.21 an hour then start apprenticeship in the fall. Once you start apprenticeship you get roughly $3 in raises a year getting a decent raise every 6months.
By the time apprenticeship is done ( 4years ) plumbers are making $25 an hour, Ductwork guys around $20 and pipefitters about $22-$23. I have been with grants about 10 months and if I get the raise im supposed to ill be up to $13.05 an hour. Benefits are pretty good too... paid holidays, 1 week of vacation a year until journeyman then its 2 weeks a year, you pay for your own insurance which sucks but its alright.
Lot of work though and if you dont have the initiative to work hard and do some pretty shitty stuff, or get dirty. Its not for you... its very hard work but its worth the money and the opporunity for a career that will land you a job anywhere.

check out ic system www.icsystem.com i have been in the same boat with u cant find a job been droping apps off all over the place, one night my room mate got home told me to try ic system its were he works i appled in less then 12 hours they called me for an interview at 2:00 the next day pays 8.50 an hour starting plus beifits pay time off plus payed holidays and ever holiday u get off plus bounses of up to 2000.00 a month on top of ur daily pay

i havent started yet there running a back round check on me i should have a job on monday i was in there friday i can handdle this job its easyer then a transfer agent and yes i f i get hired i will love this job cause of the beniffits u should apply u dont have to go anywere u can apply naked if u want -
you could go and see if dealerships or auto detail shops need help. it's easy work and sometimes the pay is good
