autozone fail

something as simple as a 9" rear there is no excuse. Anyone that has any car experience and is 18y/o should know a 9" would be in a 70s truck or something. Yes there are differences, but once you get one # for a 9" its pretty easy to find the right part. I just walk right into the back isles and get what i need, fuck the workers.
In fact, they tried to kick me out of a 'Zone in TX for doing that, so i told them what i needed, sat there for 10 min while they couldnt find it. I walked back and took it off the shelf i knew it was on in about 1 min. They never said another word -
Those retards behind the counter have limited tools. Some could care less about muscle cars and 9" rear ends, but could help about 98% of the rest of the customers because those customers know what their parts came from. When I worked at the auto parts store, I had retards come in the door and said they needed a part for the truck. Like I know what kind of truck you have. Or other retards would walk in and say they need gaskets for their chevy 350, but didn't have a clue what the year of their 350 and tried to tell me they were all the same. Just so you know, their are idiots on both sides of the counter, and there are some knowledgeable on both sides. It is hard for a parts guy to have knowledge of every thing dealing with 4X4s, drag cars, race cars, motor swapped hondas, acuras, nissans, mazdas, vws, chevys, fords, chryslers, ATVs, motorcyles, 3-wheelers, etc, etc. Give those guys a little bit of a break, and try to feed them answers to the best of their abilities. Its not like the old days.

I go to carquest on main. The guys there are older than god, know parts numbers better than their internet porn sites and I get the Lunde discount. easy decision for me.
On a side note: Jeff from moorhead muscatell has yet to fail to get me a part, even when it is not in his USDM parts catalog.

The problem with the parts guys is most places require you to have a clear driving record....and the people who know cars and there parts are usually dont have that because they are the ones who are out racing there car around TESTING the new part they just put on......Right? LOL
