The National Weather Service now expects the Red to top out at 35.5 feet in its second crest Saturday, thanks to a forecast that calls for a major storm to swing much farther south, leaving the region with only a quarter-inch of rain over the next few days.

Its okay to admit you all looked stupid when you laughed and mocked us cause we didn't believe in the almighty national weather services shitty prediction tactics.

Sounds like you 2 got a case of denial more than anything.

Really? I would like to see you tell the city "whoops it went to 42' but we didn't want to be wrong so we said 35' , my bad"

You can't really think it is better to predict lower then higher?

Predicting higher makes sense...just think it is funny that you guys jump down his throat and he was basically right. I guess we all need to be thankful that it wasnt a major catastophere. The flood sucked for everybody. Maybe we wont have water restrictions this summer lol...

                                What Brian said.

With that said, they were really off on their predictions 1 day off when they said 41-42 with potential to go 43.

What would make one think they'd be spot on 2 weeks out?

I wouldn't need to tell the city shit because I was right all along, and I dont get paid to make those decisions.

Still doesnt take away the fact that everytime Joel posted something, he got picked on.

And when he was right, I knew we'd get the "oh well better to be safe than sorry nurrr" when all he was saying was it was NOT going to be higher than the 1st crest.
