Soft Modded X-Box

I soft-modded my x-box today, basically it exploits a game (splinter cell) in to letting you install what mod chips do via hardware.
I now am running a fully modded xbox using UDE2 and the EvoX Dashboard.
I still have my FULL 2 year warranty intact, box was never opened. And yes, I do have one of the new new xbox's that are supposidly harder to modify (verion 1.6b).
If anybody needs their xbox's modified to be able to run burned games, etc...
let me know.

Setup includes:
Built in FTP Server for transfering games -> pc and vice versa
Ability to store X-Box games on harddriveI now have all emulators working, this allows you to play other game system games on your X-BoX:
Playstation (1)
N64
SNES
Genisis
NES
Gameboy
Game GearFor the cartridge game systems (everything but PS1, I have roms for them all, so basically every game ever made for these systems, they can be stored on the harddrive of the xbox).
Also features a Media Center, allows you to play divx files and such, stream media from your pc, do whatever.... limited TiVO function as well.
I'd prob be willing to start a library of burned X-Box games that I could make available (on dvd-r) to you all if you were interested...

Its ok I have the full rom collections.
It's pretty simple... basically as you guys know, the x-box is just a computer. People have devloped a linux based operating system to run a 3rd party OS instead of the restrictive microsoft one. The "dashboard" or the menus that you see when you boot the xbox change and such to give you more options.
What mod chips and soft-mods do, are chage the bios to allow for a new OS to be put on. Then once the bios is changed, a new OS is loaded on the harddrive. From there you can install other applications such as emulators etc...
The way I did my soft mod was to buy a USB adapter for the memory card, load the exploit, rent splinter cell, run the save game exploit, load UDE2 (ultimate dashboard exploit) which changes the bios, then run the install of the new dashboard, and finally setup an FTP server so you can copy games, load new files etc...
You can use a standard cross over to connect to it, or you can actually set it up on your LAN.
Yes, this will continue to work with X-Box Live, but you must switch back to the original MS dashboard first (aka no copying of xbox live games if you want to play on xbox live)

i currently don't have an xbox, but i'm interested in where you all get the ROM's from.
I'm running emulation on my dreamcast and have only found nintendo ROMS so far. -
At the moment I have 715 Nintendo Roms, and 290 SNES Roms.
Is anybody interested in other systems such as gameboy, etc...? Otherwise I won't bother downloading them all.
