Well jason you are correct. Not only did I do it so the fitment would work without overfenders but running the harder sidewall also. I plan to do as many drift events as possible this year which means I will be changing my tire setups if I find I need something different. This more of a trial and error thing for me. I don't care if you guys dislike it, I am not a carshow fan boy so this was done for function more than looks. I have spoke with justin pawlak (pro formulaD driver) many times about the plus and minus of the tire wheel combo I went with and he has given me pros and cons on both and the pros over wiegh the cons.

Also parker when it hits a curb the wheel says fuck off. Owell.

someone came into fleet not to long ago cause they had drifted thier mazda into a curb and cracked the rim.

^lol see colton your gay! And rex the reason they are chrome is because it was a deal I couldn't pass up. And I needed tires more then powdercoat. I kinda like the way the chrome looks at the moment but will probably do a matte black center with gold lip pwder coat after I burn through this first set of tires.
