Mad wack drifter in a blue RX7

no, most of the drift event in the use have large wall that you'd have to hit first.

ahh fuck it. drift away max. i dont mind.we all have been guilty of driving outside of legality. oops. Hipocrites.
I can't recall that i have ever come close to death though... hmmmm, might as well do wheelies down 25th street during rush hour. That never hurt anyone... -
Disclaimer - I don't think I am above anyone on this site. I don't claim to be smarter, but have an opinion (like everyone else), and will give it below. Take it for what it is worth. I went through the loss of a 24 year old brother-in-law just 2 months ago from erratic driving, so I feel compelled to speak on this subject
I guess I don't know which side I feel is more stupid? The idiot driving like a moron on city streets, or the guy who openly admits he didn't hit the brakes to certainly avoid an accident?
Smax - I think it is safe to say that you have had your 'close calls' with the car, as well as with police. It wouldn't be out of line to tell a guy that I like you, and would like to keep you around for awhile (driving like you do, CAN lead to death)
John - Part of being a good driver (again in my opinion) is being a good 'defensive' driver. Meaning, when you see someone driving like an asshat, do everything you can to avoid the potential accident and injury/death to someone. You didn't hit the brakes, and 'what if' Smax DID have his kid in the car and you killed Smax or the helpless kid? Would it have been Smax's fault, yes (as long as nobody was around to see you DIDN'T attempt to brake), but can you live with the fact that a kid was killed due to you, or your lack of being 'submissive' and braking? (He DIDN'T have the kid in the car, as I think he is smarter than that, but there are many 'what ifs' when it comes to being an aggressive driver)
I agree that everyone on this site (including myself) drives outside the law at one point or another, but a beginner drifter has no place on city streets, and avoiding an accident should be done in ANY case. Idiot or not.

"what if" he pulled out a second later... -
He didnt hit the brakes on purpose, he was hoping to "scare" him or casue an accident because it would be max's fault

(He DIDN'T have the kid in the car, as I think he is smarter than that, but there are many 'what ifs' when it comes to being an aggressive driver)I do agree that being a good driver means being a defensive driver. Ask anyone that has ever been in a car while I'm driving and they will probably tell you that I drive like a grandma. Now, back in high school I used to drive my shitty little ricemobiles like every street was a race track and I freely admit that. After hitting a tree sideways at 40 mph and injuring the three people in the car that were with me (and I FREELY ADMIT THAT IT WAS 100% MY FAULT) I decided to change my driving habits.
Would I have felt guilty if I would have wrecked max's car...no, would I have felt guilty if I would have given him a mild injury...no, would I have felt guilty if I would have given him a major injury...probably, killed him...yes, killed his child...definately.
But when I see someone absolutely fucking around in traffic, I will be aggressive. They are putting OTHER people's lives in danger...so why should I care if I put their life in danger in the same situation...if they don't care about me why should I care about them?
My car was aimed directly at his driver's fender/front bumper...If I was going straight at the driver's door I wouldn't have hesitated...I would have locked up the brakes, got on the horn, and given him the finger.
This quote is kinda funny and yet I'm not sure how to take it...

As I already stated I am 100% at fault. I apologized and the only thing I can do now is keep my bs on the track or closed area where no one will have any chance of getting hurt. I am sorry for putting your life in danger. As well as the others that were in traffic. I thought I was farther ahead of everyone, which does not make a difference. I made a mistake and will not do it again.
