MCSO at bir yesterday

I figured the ricers on the forum would be happy to hear that Brent Rau was the #1 qualifier in Pro Outlaw at BIR yesterday running a 6.83 @ 198 mph.

On the down side, Rick Schmit from Dickinson hit the wall with his incredibly clean blown alky Mustang. It oiled the tires right at the hit, he almost saved it about 3 or 4 times then finally hit the wall head on.

Lots of quick cars in King Street, Real Street, etc. I'd def recommend going to the next event. It's a good time, and you get to check out a lot of cool/fast cars in the pit. Rau was really a nice guy and was willing to chat about the car.

Dave, is he still using a stock block Mitsubishi 2.0 Liter with the huge John Deer tractor turbo? :icon_scratch:

The mustang was a very nice Pro Outlaw car.

The front of the car ^^^ doesn't look that good anymore.

Rau is using a BW S400. It looked like it was a stock block, but I'm not sure. He def has the car dialled in. Unfortunately the Mustang above and Rau were in the same qualifying pass, I ended up watching the Mustang crash instead of focusing on the DSM's pass.

wait, this wasn't actually MCSO was it? That's still in the fall right?

Saw some pics on TCStangs of that car in the wall. I KNOW I've seen it before - did he ever have that at ISD? (or maybe it's just been all the years at MCSO that I recognize it from)

This event was added this year and was scheduled for spring so guys had more time to fix their junk. This event is called I.C.E. Index Class Eliminator Drag Racing.
