if you get your car painted a differnt color its rice nowadays...everything is rice....people are stupid....see those low profile tires..in another 2 months...they will be rice too.

The only things in my mind that are rice are: tin fins, underbody lights, R racing seat covers and steering wheel covers, stupid sounding $50 mufflers, and motegi mr7 rims, and last and completly least APC.

yep i agree with everything you listed there...well execpt for underbody lights because i have them haha....they add style to night driving!..

I too don't see what all the fuss is...everyone calls everything done for appearance reasons rice. I just don't get it. If its done well and blends together well I don't think it can be called rice. For example, I want a JUN body kit for my car mostly for the aerodynamic aspects but also because it looks awesome IMHO. I don't think that it should be considered rice just because it looks different/better than stock. That would be like saying women who wear make-up are "ricey". Just my $.02

2001-Fast and the Furious came out. It changed the car import car world. Now every 16 year old all over the world wanted a pimped out car. The import world got flooded by kids that dident know performance from candy.
Car companys saw this money making opportunity and started making shitty cheep knock-offs of every part out there. ** This is the start of Rice!**
2001-2005
Rice then became known as cheep, all show and no go. Every thing became TYPE-R LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Then it became the witch hunt it is today.Now JDM has been very popular and keeps getting more popular. Well JDM and the clean/sleeper OEM look is very popular right now to. I'm guessing that soon once every one has "Clean" cars again that Rice is going to have a HUGE comback.

Rice got too popular, had a down fall. To battel the Rice anti-Ricers the "Clean crew" set them selfs apart with clean fast cars and JDM parts. Now thats too popular and Rice is going to come back.
