True, but I've not only seen it on the side of the road but I've been there towing it in a CHEV. What!

Thanks for all the suggestions.. I think I will just look into getting a magna flow muffler as that seems to be what most people have suggested.

I've been deleting threads like crazy on this one. Can you please get it back on topic? She is just wondering opinions or choices on what exhaust to use. Just answer if you have something worth while choices for her to chose from.

If you are going to do more modding then the whole cat-back Magnaflow will help more in the future as you get more air going through and then you won't have to worry about the stock exhaust, and cat holding you back. Moderate tuner? then cat back. And so much for that show car being a cavi, they changed the headlights and tail lights because it was a cavi.

I know that but when theres drool on each post, it gets pretty lame quick and then usually turns into a pissing contest.

If your going to do any mods in the future, you dont want to waste $$ with some lame-o fart can and thats it. Because you'll have to replace it with something else lster on. I say spend your money right the first time and be done with it. Of course it is all up to you.

I think he's saying you should get a high quality muffler, such as a Magnaflow, as it will last many years.

this is what most of us mean, just wait until you have something behind the muffler. turbo, n2o, whatever... and then, you'll want more than just a muffler, because the muffler doesn't improve power or throttle response much if at all

all she said was she wanted a nice lil rumble sound. no instinct of racing it. if you want the sound just get the muffler, if you want to race it, get the catback

making the diameter of the pipe bigger also changes the sound though. so why not and it isn't that much more expensive to get something from the catback.

I think you would love the magnaflow muffler, it sounds sweet, and you would probably speed more just to hear your exhaust.
