Favre in purple

I am excited for favre to play. Hopefully he can bring leadership in the qb position and help develop tjack or sage or booty or whoever they keep. The vikings have a solid running game but it cant do everything for the team like they everyone saw last year. And putting tjack in as the starter again this year i think would be disaster.
I also read in another article, that wilfe wants to sell the team, but obviously no ones interested. So hes hoping favre can create a lasting buzz with the vikings so maybe in a few years he could sell the team.

The state of Minnesota has been talking to California for some times now. They would like LA to have football again. I got this information from a state representative whom is directly involved.

This. I would hate to see them move.
And I hope Favre plays this year!!! A slap in the face to the bitch Packers.
I hope Favre plays this year as well in MN....he's not the answer to the Vikings offense, even though he is/was a great QB.
Think about this: If you look up West Coast Offense in the dictionary, when they start talking about QB's there will be a pic of Favre......and not even a footnote about the Minnesota Vikings.
Favre is known for his arm, not his ability to hand off the football....though I will give you the fact that he is more capable of handing off a football w/o fumbling than T-Jack is for buying a hotdog and not fumbling at the Dome.
Which brings me to the point that Peterson is the part that you should be building the team around. Putting him in an offense with Favre as QB is like pairing up Michael Johnson (100meters in 9.67 seconds) or Bob Hayes (ran a 100m leg of a 4x100 relay in the Tokyo Olympics in 8.6 seconds) with CapitlJ (Sorry Josh) in a 3 legged race.
Why would you want to take the focus off of your stud RB? Peterson IS the future of the Vikings, not Favre...(10 years ago, I'd have a completely diff argument on this) Why put your RB in a position that he can't shine in OR why put your QB in a position that doesn't suit his style. The Jets found out this last year....if you want Favre to play like Favre and win games....let him throw the damn ball (until he injures his throwing arm). If he throws the ball, how long before Peterson says "fuck it" and starts taking plays off? Or how long before he gets frustrated and demands to be traded? Is that what you guys REALLY want? If so, I could just as well be signed at QB, I'll do it for league minimum.

The Vikings got to see what making Favre the focal point of the Jets offense did with Thomas Jones last year. IMO, that's exactly why NY didn't make the playoffs and the Vikings will not make the same mistake if Favre signs. Come on, Peterson is the focus of the Vikings offense and will get 25 touches no matter who the qb is. Guaranteed.
