Domestic vs. Import...

I also think that people not going has a lot to do with most street cars, not being able to pass the tech since it's more strict, and I doubt a lot of ppl will wanna spend all the extra money to make it that way, just to race for fun... Which takes out most of the people that aren't building cars that are pretty much for drag only...
The reason I was flaming was it seems this dude just came on here solely to advertise his event and contribute nothing else to this site...

Sorry guys I hadn't had a chance to reply to your questions, or interact with your comments. Here's the deal, I'm not the owner, I'm the new track announcer I don't know what went down, so I can't comment on it. All I know is I met Greg a couple of months ago and he's a great guy with a lot of great ideas. Owning a business isn't all it's cracked up to be, and sometimes you have to make unpopular decisions, for the betterment of your company. I'm a racing fan period. And I used to race at this track in high school, and after I graduated, we used to drive from Wadena to the track, with barely enough gas to get home. That track has a family feeling, there's a sense of competition, and comaraderie. It doesn't matter whether you're driving a moped or a viper. We're trying to build this track back up, we would like your input.

Tintmasters has done alot for the car scene around here and have went out of their way to support track days. It was a dumb business decision by your company to cut them off. They are a niche market and would have brought the demand to the track on street legal nights. Yes, some imports will still come out there, but you have given a lot a people a bad taste in their mouth.

If i cant pass tech in my streetlegal car to run a streetlegal event then im not going to spent more money to do so. PERIOD.
