9.7% unemployment - highest in 26 years

so...highest since Reagan (By 1983 Reagan was 2 years into his presidency)? Since we all know that Jimmy Carter was responsible for the economic plunder of the early 80's, I'd say that we have to apply the same measure to the current president...right? Or doesn't political math work that way?

i assume you mean assigning the blame for this to bush? if that is what you mean, a shorter list might be to ask who doesn't think bush is to blame. -

They should have stated, "The only reason why we are predicting these low numbers and making these large disclaimers is so the stimulus will pass swiftly"
That would have been a more truthful disclaimer IMO...
